Yes it is. I found myself thinking about the site last night...but not in the same way I used to think about the other site. Things are different over there too but here's a short example of what I'm talking about.
I was having a fairly civilized discussion with two guys I don't usually engage with over there. We had different opinions about a certain issue, but the conversation was cool. People were conceding points, admitting that they didn't know everything and generally being gentlemen. That's cool. Then along came one of the usual suspects...butted in and ruined the whole thing. So far, I haven't seen a harsh word over here and I'm very impressed by that. I'm cool with different opinions and ideas...I'm not cool with rudeness and disrespect...especially when the
only contribution to the thread was just to tell me I suck.
