Re: Moderator's Game Review - Memoir '44
I would have to agree with Whiterook. Memoir 44 is a great World War II game that builds on the actual history for each battle and allows the players to try and change history.
In a modified and simplified version, I have taught my 3rd grade class how to play and run a successful lunch recess tournament between teams of two. Twenty-four students participated and all of them look forward to the next one...which starts in about a week. In short, this is a very accessible game that opens the door for very real research into the battles and history of World War II.
