Re: What's your favorite World War II movie?
They just had Von Ryans Express on TV this afternoon. About a group of WWII POW's that take over a train in Italy, and make a run for Switzerland. Pretty good plot, action was fast paced for it's time.
Only thing I did not like was the planes that attacked the train towards the end of the movie. I suppose they were to be Me109's but looked too much like Me108's (with rocket pods, no doubt). Guess there weren't too many 109's or FW's in the area to rent out.
