Re: The End Of Hitler?

There's a historian from UCD - University College Dublin - who's preparing a book on this as we discuss. There are MANY problems with the events surrounding the death of Hitler it seems - some of the highlights being totally conflicting witness accounts of the body burning - even as diferent as different time on different DAYS! It seems only ONE of these witness to body burnings at the door of the bunker...there appear to have been THREE separate events...identified the body of the Fuhrer - by his TROUSERS!!!

The second major batch of problems are with the dental "evidence" used by the Russians. It appears NO actual dental records of Hitler's survived - instead bridgework on a disembodied jaw (yuck) was identified by a dentist who wasn't even present when the bridgework he was shown was done - he identified it from his RECOLLECTION of the records, having claimed he could LOL

Finally, there are major disagreements with almost EVERY apparent fact...and Hugh Trevor-Roper's "definitive" account published by late summer 1945 and now accepted as "gospel"

There is WHOLE pile of anecdotal evidence as well of events in real life being different from the historical "record", one of the most interesting one being the strange "missing" flights of Hanna Reitsch - who in her autobiography remembered several more flights in and out of Berlin in the last three days than the historical record would have us accept.

Apparently this material is all to be published in abridged form in an American "conspiracy theory"-type magazine sometime around now, to test the waters of public acceptance, then will be posted up on the magazine's website for public access. Then depending on the reaction the book will be published. As soon as it's up on the Net I'll append the URL here.

I've seen some of the material for the abridged articles, and authenticated some of the details on my own. So far I can't fault the scholarship...
