I personally, don't think it is all that newsworthy. He was one man out of how many who were in th SS during WW2. They served their country. Most could give a hoot about politics and such. You will have some who have nothing bad to say about ANY branch of service they served in. Some will say the opposite for whatever reasons. And then again,"The NewYork Times"......
