That is the same place that I was able to get base info form most of them from. I don't see one for those shot while trying to escape just the one with basic info on their capture (although a lot of them were wrong) . For example one of the men in the unit that was captured on D-Day, Lambert Tucker, has his location of capture as Germany but he was definitely in France. He was one of the Three who attempted to escape. He and the more famous Joseph Beyrle (my avatar) and Capt. Robert Harwick H/506 dropped out of line of the German column and tried to make a run for it. Joe was shot in the butt and told the others to leave him. Tucker was recaptured soon there after but Harwick made it back to friendly lines. On both Tucker and Beyrle's records the source is an official account (Harwick). I will continue the stories in another thread.
