That's the kind of thing yes. I was also thinking of something with an in progress area where you fold open a lid and front or something and your current build is all there with selected tools, paints etc that pertain to it. It would be nice to be able to close something up and come straight back to it without having to put all the stuff away (kids, cats....).
I use a writing desk? thingo with a fold down door which is similar but it is a bit cramped.
Nice to dream though.
