mccoy has hit the nail on the head these vehicles saw very little or no action at all. paint supplies were very short at the end of the war you could use the red oxide primer on the vehicle definately however the actual base coat could be dark yellow or dark grey there also was some research that showed that gark green was also used as a base coat as well. alot of veicles that were built late in the war eg early 45 possibly never recieved camouflage at all such was the rush to get the vehicles in to use. from late 44 the use of elaborate camouflage was seen on german vehicles various ambush schemes were used and the three coulors schemes as well alot of the three tone schemes were hard edged and clearly defined . hope this helps
