And I guess you have to decide how much weathering you care to depict on the model...which would usually require your lighten up the paint a tad...well, more than a tad, fo my tastes. I did a panther with Tamiya Acrylics, brushed, and I found I wasn't happy with the colors right out of the jar...they were too dark, and didn't look quite right to me; so I ended up mixing lighter versions of the colors, yet maintained some darks as well, mostly on some areas that wouldn't have seen a lot of sun or exposure. Just a thought.
