Wow, what a novel idea for an interactive wenpage. I love the "searchlight" word boxes!
One of the parts of the Great Escape that always intrigued me was the bedboards used for the shoring up of the tunnel. How on earth did they sleep on all those bunks with that many boards missing...and how did the guards miss the fact that so many were missing, as they routinely inspected the barracks, and surely "rearranged" a bunk or two to check the flooring beneath?
