BATTLEFRONT: Breaking the Tide ("I Want My Grandma!!!")

Right here we go. The next installment is an Eastern front effort, late 1944 or so. Soviet forces are moving forward again and German forces lead by our erstwhile Colonel Hagen are trying to slow them enough to allow a line further back to be consolidated. Can he do it? The Soviet forces are larger (surprise surprise) than the Wermacht's and threaten to swamp the Colonel's force.

The Colonel has a need for another commander to help him here. Any takers for a tough job?
Some of the German units are veterans and one is an elite. German command hopes this will give them the edge or at least parity with the approaching enemy.

TRDG is already straining the leash on his Russian troops and also needs a bit of a hand with strategy / tactics / tea breaks.

Two brave souls will be good. One for each side.

The battlefield favours no one as there are two rocky outcrops in the middle of it which cannot be used by vehicles or infantry but may be scaled by spotters after a lot of swearing. The rest of the area has nooks and crannies in the form of some woods (ambush - great), hedges (more ambush), some buildings and a boggy stream (breach roll to cross except for infantry).

Apart from that it's quite easy going really...... if you discount the enemy planes from both sides...... the anti tank units which can hide easily.........

So, two more victims.. er volunteers are required if available.
