Not to take this too far off topic, but "Organisation Todt" was run under the control of Fritz Todt and then Albert Speer after Todt's death in February 1942. Under Speer, it "employed" increasing numbers of
Fremdarbeiter (slave laborers from occupied countries), prisoners of war, concentration camp inmates, and Germans rejected from military service. Many of them did not survive the war. They were simply worked to death.
