For me, some of the "color profiles" I have seen in some books do not impress me, I'll look for some examples later. But an original pic even though in B-W, can give you a fairly good clue. The actual color I think most can come up with a good and semi-realistic depiction of by now........ But the actual patterns can be quite something else. Now THAT I have seen people take to many liberties for my taste sometimes, and on actual vehicles that do have pics out there!!!

Cheers, I'm not a "great camo painter" myself compared to the mags, but I try to hold my own.

For me the real thrill of getting newer books is trying to find pics I hav'nt seen before and hopefully some combat ones!!
