Leaves for dioramas.

During last summer, i was sitting in my car when i noticed loads of little tiny leaves on the windscreen. on closer inspection, they looked like the perfect scale for 1:35 dioramas. i thought it would be ideal to incorporate them in a diorama.

here is a step by step of what i've done.

I found out the tiny leaves were from the seeds pods from the silver birch tree.

This is what the seed pods look like.

After breaking up the pod, you have the leaves you need and some bits you don't.

On the left is the fresh green leaves and on the right is some left over from last year that have turned autumn brown with age.

a 1:35 figure standing amongst the leaves.

Placed on a diorama. when fixing it down, use white glue. not only does it stick it down, it also seals it as well so it don't rot or change colour.
