This photo was taken by Robert Capa. If I recall it correctly he also took a picture of the soldier moments before the sniper struck. I can't find the picture now n' it isn't in his own book (have it unread in the shelf). |
You are correct McCoy. I've seen the other photo also. Looking at that pool of blood I'd guess he didn't die right off.
