Re: Saving a Nazi Church

I think it should be preserved. If some fanatics want to destroy it we should ask about destroying napoleonic era memorabilias...

Couple of weeks ago I had seen on Polish satellite story from Masurian village.
It was East Prussia; for centuries the "ownership" fluctuated between Prussian and Polish Kings.
In 1945, 95% of the population left escaping soviets. After that area was
re-populated by Poles - refugees and repatriated families from the East, from areas taken by the soviets.
And now I could see on TV some young people which restore old cemeteries and monuments, saying that they want to live in harmony with natural history. Some of them live in houses which belonged to people which ancestors graves are nearby...
Younger generations want reconcilliation and are happy to take care of the graves of previuos generations.

I like it, but I'm afraid greed may be stronger than culture...
By greed, I mean greed of both sides...

The French use four fingers and the thumb, which undoubtedly stands for their Liberte, Egalite, Fraternite, the Croissant and the Aperitiff.
