The Swedish UN force contigent deployed to Congo during the "crisis" there of the early 1960's, employed several examples of these vehicles there. Some of these later ending up with one or another of the mercenary commandos helping the then president of the Republic of Congo, Moise Tschombe, to quell the Simba-rebellion. Have at least seen one picture in some odd publication of a beret wearing mercenary marching in front of one of these vehicles along a muddy road.""""
