People, it is becoming obvious that some of you need to start taking more care on how and where you are posting your photos. For this reason we are setting up some guidelines:
All photos, with the exception of "Face of War" or "Ostfront Fotos", must contain some form of caption information. If you have photos of interest that do not contain any information, and you wish to ask for help in identification of said photos, then state so as a caption.
Check to make sure your photo is in line with both the discussion of the thread or section. No aircraft photos in land warfare sections, no PTO photos in Eastern Front threads.
Check your photo posts with the preview function before submitting. Clean up loose IMG tags or other edit marks before posting. Make sure your photo post in fact has a photo in it. The image you see in preview is how it will appear when posted. If it does not look right in preview, fix it.
Do not use a single photo as a thread. This eats up valuable forum real estate and is a waste of space. If you do not plan to add other photos to a thread, then place the photo elsewhere.
It is preferable if you post photos rather than links to photos.
Photos posted should be large enough to be viewed by members. Thumbnails or very small photos that cannot be clicked on to enlarge may not be able to viewed by some members.
If you have posted photos via an image hosting site, and have been made aware that said photos have vanished, take the time to replace missing photos by using the sites photo gallery feature.
Take advantage of the site's user friendly photo hosting feature. You can load up to ten photos at a time, have a member album established that allows for on site reference and access at any time, and insures your photos will not disappear down the road.
Any member who needs help using this feature can contact me:

Recently we have had a few "gentleman's" photos appear in Kilroy's Place. Fun is fun but you guys know where the line is. Don't cross it.
The moderating staff is starting to pay close attention to the improper placement of photos. Save us and you time and trouble by taking extra care in how your photos are posted.
The site is growing. It is important we
all do our part to keep it problem free.
