Re: What's the worst World War II movie?

I would have to go with "Battle of the Bulge". Despite the cast (Henry Fonda, Robert Shaw, etc)-this was a big disappointment. I know you're suppose to make allowances for Hollywood is out to entertain and make a buck in the process, but this was too much. It made it out like the only reason the Americans won is because the Germans ran out of gas. Anyone who's knowledgable about the Bulge knows it was the American soldier who made all the difference. The climactic tank battle at the end where the Americans are being picked off-well if memory serves me right, the US 2nd Armored stopped the 2nd Panzer Division dead in its tracks around Celles on Christmas Day. Want a good Bulge movie? "Battleground" or the "Bastogne" and "The Breaking Point" episodes in "Band of Brothers".
