Re: Mystery submarine wrecks could be German U-boats
They now believe these two U-boats date back to WW1, they're believed to be U-102 and U-92. It's thought that they blundered into a minefield in 1918. The U-102 was commanded by Kurt Bietzen, Bietzen is credited with sinking a ship in which Lord Kitchener died.
