I'm 'There' right now, yes, bloody hot (and only June!!). At least they got shorts! I'm in a full coverall, boots, hard hat and gloves, bloody melting!! And lots of flies!

I hear they're pretty bad in WA. My partner and I drove across in 2002. Can you believe it rained on the Nullarbor both on the way over and on the way back...in February. Not many flies...they're a bit more sluggish down here.

Don't worry much mate. Eventually you're get AC in the cars, and glass windows that will roll up.

When I was in the 1st Gulf War..we always noticed we could drive 50 km into the desert stop and in 5 minutes there would be a cloud of flies. Nasty buggers.

it's up to you, dude. I beleive it was used throught the war by any and all units. Personally I would either make it into (what you want) and Africakorps model or a diorama with SS troops for Berlin or something.

Everybody knows you can't roll glass once it's set and what has AC power got to do with cars ?
