Grandfather I am so proud

I found an old document of my Grandfathers it shows he was in the R.A.F from 1937 till 1946. He rose to the rank of flight Sergent. He was not a conscript but an enlisted man two years before the war started. I feel so proud as he was an Irishman fighting for Britain. Can you believe that with all the racism the Irish had to face in England. If he was good enough to fight for this country he was good enough to live here. Sorry why is this post here he fought in North Africa

If you can give me his full name and his Unit, I may be able to find a picture of him for you...it is possible.
