A-36B Apache in British colours. The ground attack version of the Mustang.

No, no rockets, just bombs (900 kg payload) n' there was just 'bout 500 of 'em made n' was outfaced by the Jug that proved to be a better groundpounder. The Apache also had problems with malfunctioned divebrakes. It was an a/c that became a fotnote in history n' soon was forgetted n' nowadays a lot of people haven't even heard of it.

Thanks Jim, I still have plenty more P-51 photos I haven't posted yet.

Only, what was a "Jug"? I have never heard that term before.
