Not positive but the aircraft in the background appears to be a glider, could this have been a glider tug forced down in the LZ?

The aircraft in the background isn't a glider which probably doesn't help.

You are both right though - it isn't a Baltimore. Wrong time of the war for one of them anyway I think.
