From the smoke and flames the pilot seems to craw out for the sky above

Interesting shot Paul and valuable from the Luftwaffe modeller's (me) point of view. The colour of the wheel hub and the leg is interesting and unusual. Almost like red oxide primer.

Interesting mate. Could be a replacement wheel too.
Look at the dent in the spinner...quite deep...and no blades bent.
