Problems with BB Codes

For some reason BB codes that call for text formatting have become unavailable.

This should be temporary. A support ticket has been submitted to the software developer. As a result, the site may need to go down periodically for "repairs".

I appreciate you patience.

OK, things seem to be working OK for now.

I'm not sure what happened, but it started when I made RSS syndication available. Because of this, it may happen again.

I will wait a day or two before re-installing the "hacks" that had been removed.

This problem has finally been resloved. It was due to an interaction of two XML files for modifications that interacted to interfere with two bitfields coded for in vBulletin's native code. One of those XML files was for the Journal and the other for a Google members map that I had been testing but had not made "live". Removing the Google map XML resolved the issue with BB codes and with issue with the members list.

I will be adding the Journal software back and other modifications over the nect day or so. As a result of having uninstalled it any entries that had been made in that 24 or so hour period that it had previously been active likely are lost.
