I will attack the Rusky squad over in hex B, using my LMG, then follow up with an assault.

NOT, Hey there you rusky new member, how is it going....... glad to see you join the site!!

thoughts gentlemen?

I SHOULD use RUSSIAN squad or R squad......?? sorry guys, just trying to make sure here!!
Tom,

In "real life" if you use terminology that might be borderline you have your tone and facial expression to back you up. Online the written word is toneless and there are no facial expressions. Even smilies can be misconstrued.

I would know what you meant in such a situation but the point is that we want to have one set of rules for the site. Not one for a game forum and one for the rest of the site. Otherwise it becomes way too difficult to figure out what's allowed where. I go to a reptile site where I moderate a few forums. On one of the forums personal attacks are allowed. On all of the other forums they aren't. Now I don't do the handing out of warnings there but people do get confused and get into trouble over different interpretations of what is allowed where. I don't want that headache here.

Re: Use of derogatory terms

Does that mean that if I discuss my job, I can't refer to the inmates/clients as "idiots?" That's gonna be hard...

Idiots transcend international borders. Everybody has them.

Re: Use of derogatory terms

Maybe I'm being a little sensitive (;)) but I stopped reading the 'I do all the work thread' as the 'tea drinkers' joke wore a little thin.

Re: Use of derogatory terms

I think that more or less proves my point. Let's be considerate.

If issues arise it's fine to PM me or one of the super mods and we will discuss it and hopefully rectify the situation.
