That's it you nailed it, they had gotten as far as a rail line, where one was shot and possibly then they took the pills. Yeah i couldn't remember his name
but thats the guy, along with a doctor. I want to say the artical i read was
in WW2 mag.

They would have made an interesting sight running through the ruins of Berlin; Bormann short and squat, while Stumpfegger was tall 6'6" or so and skinny.

Dr Ludwig Stumpfegger became Hitlers Physician after Hitler gave Theodore Morrel the old heave-ho. I've read varying accounts on the Dr. and the murder of the Goebbels children ranging from he wasn't there at all, to Magda Goebbels consulted with him on how to murder her children, to he actually helped with the murders of the children.
