 The Abby at Cassino after the Allied bombardment  After the raid, Allied troops start to move on the Abby  At the same time, Fallschirmjäger rush to take up positions in the ruins  Both sides begin a fight that will be at times a battle for mere meters

I saw an interview of a German Para about this battle, he said there was a
good supply of Schnaps arround and they would take a couple shots before going into battle, helped calm their nerves and feel a little more braver.
