That has to be Cologne as the Kölner Dom is visible.
The bomb (WP?) as another example,looks like an add on. As others have noted on other pics. I'm NOT complaining. Just musing. I enjoy the pictures as much as the next guy. Where else can ya find such good stuff? And in quantity.

It could very well be either or. Caption said actual and it came from a reputable site, however there is a lot of junk out there anymore. I have seen four pics so far lifted from SPR that were being captioned as "real" combat pics.

This one looked like it could be the real deal so I posted it.

I'd say the the Cologne picture with the hunchin' GI's n' the WP grenade goin' off is the Real McCoy.

That last picture seems to be late war judging by the helmet of the soldier on the left.
