ConQuest SF is the largest convention hosted by Avalon Conventions, and this year, it has changed it’s location to Santa Clara, California, USA, August 29 – September 1, 2008 (conquestsf.com). The new location offers a bigger venue for your gaming pleasure! There will be nearly 20 Role Playing Rooms, and the event will host the West Coast Boardgaming Championships. Also included is the ConQuest War College, Painting Contest, Seminars, Dealer’s Room to buy more gear, and four days of flea markets as well as two auctions.

A little more about the organizers.....
Avalon Conventions manages gaming events throughout the United State’s West Coast bringing tabletop gaming to several locations. Besides demos, tournaments, and gaming, the organizers strive to provide special events and game company industry guests. They run 3 large-scale conventions: the largest and oldest being ConQuestSF (originally PacifiCon), located in San Francisco every Labor Day Weekend; and two smaller shows, ConQuest NW in Seattle, Washington (in February), and ConQuest SAC in Sacramento, California (in April).
They also run CruiseCon, a gaming adventure on the High Seas cruising from Seattle, Washington to Alaska; as well as ConQuest Vegas, in Las Vegas, Nevada, and ConQuest Reno, in Reno, Nevada.
