Many of the common myths, inspired by post war politics regarding it's activities and combat ability are exposed as false. There is a lot of research done, shown throughout the book, including many interviews with veterans of the unit, including the imams. There are many good unpublished photographs throughout. Recommended for anyone interested in the Waffen-SS foreign volunteers.
