Roger Pat, just to make sure here, Co B will take over the gun if we capture it for that armour (whenever it shows itself) on their far middle right!!

WR, so if you would, go with what Pat wants you to do please when Mike asks for the orders to be put on here.

DD, I "heard" that there can be NO tanks for the ? Russian forces that will be activated, is that really true, or not quite the deal here?

Also, do vehicle advancing fire have the 50% reduction in firepower as well after they move and take some shots. And the AA MG on the h-t, does it have to be in reverse or backwards to use the gun, and can it be fired as well as the main gun in the same turn as well??

17/M8: 347 fire 1/2 FP at crew/AT gun 17/06

The Comp. B HQ will fire all MG ROFs at Q4 to support the assault.

2nd Platoon will also be moving up to support in R5, S6.

It will take either HQ's crew 3 turns to reach the ATG. By then the battle line should be behind us and we have no easy way to move the gun forward although we might be able to push it two hexes a turn on the road. If a squad can man it, the so be it. Otherwise, we might want to spike the gun and move on. We can destroy the gun in CC if I recall...

I fear it may come down to spiking it...I just don't get a good feeling that we'll get much use out of, but depends on what's in the immediate vacinity, I guess. We'll see!

ANYTHING in the Russian inventory (for the time period) can be activated with a Suspect "?" counter with the exception of aircraft.

Vehicles suffer "To Hit" penalties when they are moving during their turn or if they are considered "in motion" during a non moving phase but no damage penalties if they hit their target.

Yes, the AA MG on the HT can only be fired into the sides/rear hex radius. It cannot be fired over the front.

Thanks for the help here Mike, I thought that was the case there!!

Now if the Russians could get the AT gun into the house, I don't see a problem with some (German) squads getting it pushed out of the house, then the H-T can hook up to it, but is it legal?
Also, a crew squad OR the h-t crew could man the gun, correct?

Yes, it would be legal. I don't know that I would bail out the HT crew to man the ATG but it would need to be a crew unit to man the ATG.
