Re: Reconnaissance at Korocha (GAME FAQ's)
The squad that has it, just like an MG. In ASL other units can spot if equipped with radios and some other factors but for this game, the actual squad aims and fires.

Re: Reconnaissance at Korocha (GAME FAQ's)
They may be able to, I'm re-reading the rules a lot lately to make sure I got them all down. I don't usually do OBA or mortar stuff much so those are the rules I need to review in depth.

Re: Reconnaissance at Korocha (GAME FAQ's)
Hi gang...I just posted a review on Advanced Squad Leader in the Moderator's Game Review sub-forum. It includes a free download to a starter set of the game, along with a fairly decent "basics" rules section, to include a description of the Turn Sequence. Stop over and check it out...you may find the downlaod helpful in our game...and you can build your own starter set!

Re: Reconnaissance at Korocha (GAME FAQ's)
Just read about Mortars.
Spotter can in same hex as mortar or adjacent hex. Spotted fire is less effective +2 to hit DRM. Spotter can be hidden. Spotter is designated in Prep fire Phase or Defensive Fire phase.

Couple questions please....
1. The benefit of DF on broken units, it can KIA them and othere things, Right? And in prep fire for our movement turn as well? 2. Only "activated" Russian squads and armour can actually move and fire, NOT the inactivated ones yet, correct? 3. Armoured vehicles in woods, is there a greater risk to them if they move in this kind of terrain, or just additional movement costs?? Cheers Co Tomzak, A Co. |

2 Do not know this is a little different then the stadard game. 3 Both addition movement cost and they can get bogged down (stuck).
