Re: Reconnaissance at Korocha (SASL Tactical Discussion)

SW maybe Dismantled or assemblied during any Prep fire phase or Defensive fire phase, as long as it is not marked with a prep fire or first fire/final fire counter.

I think that mean you give firing during that prep fire or defensive fire phase.

Like Pat say, they can be assembled or disassembled in the Fire Phases where they could normally be used (Prep and Defensive Fire Phases).

Also, I went ahead and changed 2nd Platoons 50mm Mortar to "Assembled". I can't edit my earlier posts BUT it will be reflected in my VASL and you can fire it, etc.

Also, just an FYI, the fields are "Plowed Fields", they do not offer the same cover as regular "Fields". You can consider them open ground for most purposes such as they do not block of hinder LOS.

I don't think Light Mortars can. I don't see a Smoke depletion # on the counter so I will recheck the rules. Smoke needs to be fired in the Prep or Def Fire phases and does NOT block LOS. It is a LOS hindrance (adds to the combat dice roll like defender being in a building, woods, etc) but does not completely block LOS. If fired in the Def Fire phase it starts dispersed (i.e. less effective).

Re: Reconnaissance at Korocha (SASL Tactical Discussion)

Wasn't it stated early on that the 5cm mortar isn't able to fire smoke?

Deuce, if you ever need something amended/edited, that would otherwise be confusing to gameplay follow along, PM me exactly what, and in what thread, post#, and I can edit it for you.

Question Re: Reconnaissance at Korocha (SASL Tactical Discussion)

On Defensive Fire, all the leader and "group" bonuses (as in squads next to each other) count here as well as in the prep and advancing fire, correct?

Cheers
