Red face Re: Allied General

It was kinda strange, the first time I noticed this was after TWO LOSING games in a row, Moscow. I then wondered how the Germans were experienced for the third one so slid over to the left towards the German cities...... Then I noticed the "extra" high-lighted hexes!!!! Lost that one to by the way, BUT I could'nt find those new hexes the next day when I first turned on the game!!! I think I left it on to do....... go to the store I think? Forgot to turn it off, came back and I saw that they were there again!!

I'm almost thinking that it may be a random thing in the game, like programmed in somehow (it only works for certain battles that I have noticed), let me know what you find out when you try it.

Cheers. good luck!!

Tom

Re: Allied General

This has been an interesting thread. Brought back some fine memories with the Memory Shark thing, too! Though mine was for the old Nintendo 64. I do find it interesting that there are still PS1's being used out there. Ever since they came out with that damned PS3, the games for PS2 have all but dried up...just a few sports-related games still hanging in there.

Talking Re: Allied General

Not to much WW II related I admit, but there are a lot of general games coming out for the PS II, that still has a LARGER user base than the PS III!!!

Cheers, like over 20 titles in the next two months!! WINK

Up until my nephews took mine from me, i played my PS1 as much as i played my XBOX360. The games on that system are still a blast to play after all these years.

Post Re: Allied General

I do hope the PS III gets it really "going" sometime in the not so distant future, there is a lot of potential there, but not to much as of yet!!!

Cheers, and the price!@!! Though it did go down a bit from before......

Wink Re: Allied General

Yeah, I still dust off the old PS1 from time to time. Lot of great games on that one. I play Panzer General, Command and Conquer Red Alert Retaliation, Metal Gear Solid, Dune 2000, the Armored Core games, Steel Reign (a tank game) Battlestations (A ship combat game), and Lode Runner. I like C & C RA R, but wish it was a turn-based game. But I have cheat codes for it if anyone is interested. I also have a PS2 and original Xbox. No new consoles yet, not within my budget right now.
