Battlefield 1942 Online

Does anyone play the game Battlefield 1942 Multiplayer demo? If so, can you tell me how it is cause I am thinking of downloading it.

I doubt that there's so many today that play the demo for Battlefield 1942 online considerin' how old the game is n' how much mods that is available to the full version of BF1942.

well, I played the demo for bf42 loads when it came out. God knows, I must have wasted a year on it.

Full version wasn't a disappointment either.

The thing is with the demo is that you can play alongside full version people as long as they are playing the demo map ... so as far as I am aware even 5 years on the demo is still good to play on And it is the best map too

If i get the time I would be in. I love that game, I also have BF2. Now I have a decent PC I should get the new one as well.

I know Scott (No Nickname) plays a good bit as well.

It would be great to start our own team. I have the Battlefield 1942 MP Demo, but not the original one. If you have the demo, what is your username? My username is the same as this one...... Panzer228!

I think you can get the entire BF1942 series--BF1942, Road to Rome, and Secret Weapons--for something like $19. That's a great deal on what I consider to be the best WWII games ever.
As you might have guessed, I play them online a lot--favorite server is kittenspalace which has rather strict rules on behavior. You have to observe the rules or you'll get kicked or banned, but the rules do help keep the game fun and greatly reduce cheating.
If you're looking for a good online game (not too bad as single player or coop either), I would heartily recommend Battlefield 1942!
