That could very well be the case then. Nice work on this thread. It shows the confused state of the Wermacht deployments too. The abandoned Tiger is entirely plausible as many were due to lack of fuel and ammo. It shows the effect of Allied air power when you think that such a powerful vehicle could become useless without having to be knocked out.
maybe Sgt Rock called in air support to hammer the supply vehicles he spotted hiding further away ? Clever boy. |

If any of you want to know the back story of the Lost Battalion, google that, 442nd RCT, Go For Broke, or pick up Franz Stiedl's excellent book, "Lost Battalions."
That will give you a clear indication of the whole shebang! B |
