Anyone good at identifying Luftwaffe Generals?

Have a look at this picture - just wondering if anyone knows who these guys are?

Re: Anyone good at identifying Luftwaffe Generals?

I suppose the stupid answer is German officers so I'll let someone else come up with that one.

The one in the middle looks very familiar but I couldn't really say. Many look like they are Luftwaffe types. Apart from that it would probably take a bit of book scouring to find out.

Re: Anyone good at identifying Luftwaffe Generals?

Oh they are all luftwaffe Magna and apologies for not pointing that out in the original post, but the question is who??

A friend of mine posted a comment on another site which may be a clue: They look like they have general's insignia on their collars. The one in the center looks like he has a wreath with a single little set of wings within, making him a Generalmajor (brigadier general).
I dont know the answer so lets see if you guys have any luck.

Re: Anyone good at identifying Luftwaffe Generals?

It might help to know the year?
My guess is the one in the middle could be Warner Molders, the one on the
far right could be a young Walter Krupinski?

Good Lord, but look at all those Knights Cross's! As for a time frame if we could figure out what campaign shield the officer on the far right is wearing on his sleeve might just help us narrow it down a little more.

I agree, that's Galland but he's the only one I recognise. What a great photo though!

It really is!! Does anyone know where this photo was taken? The furnishings almost make me think it's Carinhall, Goerings estate.

Re: Anyone good at identifying Luftwaffe Generals?

Fun stuff.
Can we agree that Adolf is the speaker at the table?
Date?
The group seems young, middle age at best, and loaded with medals, age and awards seem to indicate a later date in the war. Several older Air Leaders are conspicuiously absent.

There are many photos of Karin Hall. Anybody got one that shows that huge mural in the background? If it is Karin, anybody ever hear of Goering missing a photo op?

I think the answer might lie with the decorations. I'm looking forward to future posts on this.

The mural appears to show (to me anyway) a hunter on horseback which I would think would be more approprate to Karinhall.
