I guess that LAH 1 SS can come up with some good answers to this. What more exactly do you mean by late? Chinmantlet, M.A.N. station eight steel wheel or all steel wheel or Ausf. G's without zimmerit? n' that's just to name a few variations. There's so many different configurations to Germany's big cats.

Hehe, I just meant an G without zimmerit regardless of the other variations that there was on 'em. You've some different choices when it comes to the exhausts also n' the crewcompartment heater.

Panzer Grenadier Division "Kurmark" had some late G's. Kurmark was an ad-hoc division that was formed at the wars end, it probably wasn't much larger then a Regiment. Kurmark fought at Seelowe and Berlin.

I can't say for Wiking. My references show that they had some early G's.

LAH had late G's during the Ardennes.

In your post you mention munchhausen, it was actually Muncheberg.

I'll keep my eyes open for you.

Welcome to the forums, I think you'll like it here.

Re: panther G late what div.

I went and a had a bit of a look most of the divisions you guys have mentioned all had the panther g late version in there unit shipping manifests. Mccoy makes a very good comment in regards to the variations of the panther and factories they were produced in, something to be very mindfull of if or when modelling the panther

Here is some more

Panzer Regiment 22
LAH did have panther g however, Kampfgruppe Peiper was the only unit to run the g without zimmerit
Bayern II/ Pz Regt 21
Herman Goring Division

Re: panther G late what div.

Can you please post a real picture/photo plus the colour plate of the panther your talking about. I have some photo's of panther's used by kg peiper and the panther number's close to the vehicle are all hard edged 3 tone scheme. There are some panthers in the Kampfgruppe that had the t2 classification (disc camouflage) not the t1 sheme as we have seen. Please dont think i am disputing your choice of panther (anything LAH is a great choice) im just trying to find the accurate information thta you seek
