Re: Collaborators in France and Belgium

So, lets discuss position of Danish government after 1940...
Perfect diplomatic relationship with USA...
Perfect with III-rd Reich...

Regarding Vichy... arrogant frogs were perfectly entitled to do what they wished.
They pulled out of the war, screwed England and also for a second time they screwed some idealistic Poles and Czechs which wanted to defend France...

Bugger!

Those idiots Slavs were so wrong, that they even wanted to defend Paris...
No one ever in a modern history attempted it!

Re: Collaborators in France and Belgium

Danish government? The Danish governmnet was a soverign nation under German military occupation until a total take over in 1942. Before that and after 1940, the Danish government was a memebr of the Anti-Comintern pact, and was the founder of the Danish volunteer unit 'Frikorps Danmark' for the Waffen-SS in 1941 to fight against the Soviets. The Danish government acted very hyprocrtically after the war, punishing the volunteers despite the fact that it was the Government who asked for them to volunteer, and the goverment's excuse was that it was 'acting udner duress'.

Ah well. Wars are never fair. A lot of things in war are hyprocrtical.

Peace!
