Favorite Battle

I think stalingrad was the my favorite battle. It was the bigest battle for the Germans.
But the attack on Normandy in also a big battle and i like the Afrika Korps.It a hard choose.

I love Normandy and D-day for its planning and determination. It was the turning point of the war, and put the victory in Allied hands.

Italy overall is my favorite campaign, with the 26. Panzer being my favorite unit of the Heer. Next would be ETO 44-45.

The Battle Of Berlin I am fascinated with every thing about it for 6 years I've been trying to get the number of different tanks used in it and how many of each there were. ( this is for the Germans of course.)

The Russians were winning nicely before Overlord, had it bween postponed, Bagration still would have happened, anf given Hitler's shortsightedness, just as decisively.

My favourite battle was the air war over Germany the allies went all out to finish off the Luftwaffe before D-Day. By all accounts they did this in the main. The Luftwaffe were given a good hiding from which they never fully recovered.
