Agreed, my personal thoughts on Lend Lease. Certainly it is problematic if the Soviets could have defeated the Axis powers on the historical timeline without this program, I doubt if anyone on the recieving end of the supplies wanted to find out.

Thank you, it is really hard to measure what would have really happened if there was no L.L., surlely a harder victory against the Germans, would'nt it??

Harder yes, and for the Eastern Front...longer. Simply changing the timing of a Soviet advance into Germany creates a "butterfly effect". If the Ally advance continues unabated, what becomes of Yalta? The post-war political regions of Europe would certainly be altered.

And on a counter point, where would all that L.L. end up? I have no clue myself, but someone would have to get it, unless they just put up more US divisions......

Assuming it didn't get into the Pacific, the "soft underbelly" could have used it. A stronger presence in the Adriatic region might create some additional "What ifs". Unfortunately I don't have the knowledge base to delve deeper into the possiblities.

Italy, I never thought about hat part, I did think of the Pacific, or maybe more British divisions.... Maybe French ones that hit the beachs after the normandy landing ould be possible.
