Re: Diorama Construction - Opel Blitz/flak38

This is an excellent step by step, i was thinking of putting it into the tips
sticky, but this is more than a tip, so we could either keep bumping it up
here? or create a whole new sticky for? I don't want to get too many
stickys, but what do you guys think?

I'm sure that this thread will be active a long time without it bein' a sticky.

Re: Diorama Construction - Opel Blitz/flak38

I've been told that you're supposed to "Balance" your scene through the placement of figures, vehicle and groundwork/structures. I don't know about all that, I usually move them all around until they look right to me, then drill my holes in the base. I usually use toothpicks to mark and "hold" these holes throughout the rest of the base build.

I'll post some more as soon as I do some more.

Thanks,
razorboy

No LT, I'm not that good!
I'll mark the holes with toothpicks and go to work on the base - proper.

It would seem that you DO in fact 'know about all that'.
I used to exhibit my art. If I had a dollar for everybody who told me they didn't know anything about art I'd be richer than I am from selling it. It's all about 'what looks right' rather than having some rigid formula or whatever. Seems from what I've seen of your stuff in the past RB, you've got a pretty good eye for composition even if you 'don't know it'.
Lookin' great mate. This thread will certainly stay afloat by itself.
