My first n' only airbrush experience so far.

I had the oportunity to try out airbrushing at a friends place for the first time in my life in march last year. So here's a couple of pictures of my first stapling steps with an airbrush. I did know beforehand that the result wasn't goin' to be ok so I took a scrap model that I've used to try out other things before, mainly if it was possible to make zimmerit with the putty I've got and no it wasn't possible due to the putty dryed way too fast for me. Everything is done freehand by me and here's the result below.

As a fotnote I can say that I don't think that there's a M113 A2 FSV out there with zimmerit and German WWII three tone camouflage.

So please go ahead and give it a laugh!

Practice does indeed make perfect...and you've made a good start there. I fully expect my first attempts will be on the rough side, but I've steeled myself sufficiently

Well it's been more than a year now since my atempt. I've really not felt that I've had any oportunitys durin' this time n' brushes have been sufficient durin' this period.

Haha, talk 'bout a pimped out 251 in chrome silver...

Re: My first n' only airbrush experience so far.

I fully expect my first experiences with my new airbrush will be pretty grizzly, but I've long ago given up my perfectionist ways, and am much more forgiving of myself these days. I have discovered that life is too short to be that critical of oneself...that to explore and experiment is to test one's true mettle. For whatever inspiration, or not, that is, there it is. Pick up the airbrush and have some fun, my friend!
