You can for the others but I have seen them already and in the flesh so...

To give you an idea of what I mean by their detail, the shell cases not only have primers but tiny writing around the outside of their primer.

You can also get the anodized green (accurate colour) shells if you don't want to paint brass ones green.

Cheers,
Dave

How do you afix metal shells to the plastic hull of a tank? Will model glue (liquid or tube) hold it in place, or do you need superglue?

Re: 1/48 WWII German AFV Diorama

No worries Nick, anytime mate.
(Just don't buy their "Last One" before I get one myself.)

I had another arrival in the post today (They are arriving in dribs and drabs.) from Hobby Link Japan...

Armour Modelling - 1/48 Michael Wittman and Crew - by Modelkasten.

Sent in a cardboard carton 12x 10x 7 inches containing a smaller cardboard carton measuring 6x 4x 1.5 inches. - CRAZY???
But I have to admit they do have a quick despatch system and very fast delivery.

Overall Impression: Well sculpted and detailed figures (NB: German Eagle on upper arm sleeve in bottom picture.) with virtually no flash to speak of for an injection molded kit.

I would personally recommend this easy to build but quality figure set for the 1/48 german armour fans out there.
(Two thumbs up.)

Cheers,
Dave

Dave, would you consider a separate thread on a batch of the figures you got...showing the construction and painting? I'd love to see it persoanally, as I've not done any yet.

I suppose I could do something but Chuck is the resident figure painting expert here mate not me.

My style of figure painting is more like a Production Line than Art.

- Like the weapons sprue pictured here for an example:

Modell glue won't work. CA or PVA (if there's no strain on the metall part). Ethylacetate could work as it melts the plastic so the metall sits in the plastic but that's probably only doable with small PE parts n' not a shell.
