Re: 1/48 WWII German AFV Diorama
Thanks Urban.
I might start to make some genuine progress mate, now that I have worked out the layout of the diorama. Cheers, Dave

Re: 1/48 WWII German AFV Diorama
Thanks guys for all your kind words.
Although I could have wrecked the bunker, I only just remembered that I had left it outside on the patio table Saturday morning and went and brought it in just now.(Oops...) Luckily it hasn't rained here in the last three days, so no harm, no foul. Cheers, Dave

Re: 1/48 WWII German AFV Diorama
I really can't help myself...Went and bought another model for the diorama today, the AFV Club 1/48 Tiger I 'Final Version' with Zimmerit.Overall its a very nice kit (except it has those damn rubber tracks.) that looks just as good as the Tamiya 1/48 Tiger in detail and in some respects is superior. The Tamiya Tiger's main gun barrel is in two parts, split right down the middle, while the AFV Club Tiger is a solid one piece barrel. Another difference is the handles inside the hatches are there in the AFV Club Tiger while they are missing on the Tamiya hatches. ![]() AFV Club provide PE grill covers in the kit, saving you from buying them as an extra part and also includes decals for five different Tigers. If all that isn't enough for you, its worth considering that the AFV Club 1/48 Tiger is only just over half the price of Tamiya's 1/48 Tiger, making it very appealing for those on a budget. Cheers, Dave
