Re: Miniatures - You play - I do the work

Oh sorry Lufttiger - forgot - your gunner is not 14. Wermacht rules don't allow people of such a young age to join up - especially in 1941 or thereabouts - he is 15.

Your Kingtiger has stopped off in Naples for the annual 'Let's stop here and eat lots of Pasta' festival - sorry.

I think the Konigstiger is waiting there for GAS, and they are waiting for this by stuffing their faces (pigging out!!) with food. Just because one can't eat and "dig out" any kind of Tiger out the shifting sand storms they are about to enter......... at the .......same time!!!

Cheers

Didn't think of that - there will be plenty of GAS if they keep eating the pasta too.

Hmmm... yes, as long as there's good Beer in Italy i don't blame them.
I just got word from HQ, apparenty they say there's no such thing as a
King Tiger, and that i'm either loo loo, or ahead of my time.

Vel i think i'll send them some drawings of what to build in the next few years, ya!

Re: Miniatures - You play - I do the work

I actually love this Opportunity" option element Magna, and it makes perfect sense to me...Fog of War, and unpredictability of troops reaction; we are the Commanders in the rear, and our boys at the front are wont to "interpret" our orders. Brilliant. In truth, my druthers would have been to send the Crusader down the 88's throat anyway, so I love it!!! I could see bad things coming from this 88 in the offing!

I'm curious...what scale are those units...this is the first clear shot I've seen of your disordered markers, which look to me like coins?

Re: Miniatures - You play - I do the work

They are 1/72nd / 1/76th scale Whiterook. The proper markers are all around at our games group so I am using coins. 20c for disordered and 10c for suppressed. I was using 5c but with inflation the way it is......

Re: Miniatures - You play - I do the work

Well gents, I'm off for a few days. Should be back next Wednesday evening my time. Hope this gives everyone a bit more of a chance to work on tactics. i don't go away often so this shouldn't happen much.

Thanks for all the participation and great work so far.

See you when I get back.
