Hi Tom! I just noticed your post...as MAGNA mentioned, we haven't started actually playing the scenario yet, so...

Absolutely, join on in and Welcome to the British Army, Mate!

Pip Pip, Cheerio, and all that good rot, ay what (did that sound even remotely British?).

Glad to have you aboard!

The Matador is a large truck. In this case two or three so they can carry a platoon plus HMG and mortar. Particularly vulnerable soft targets though so be careful what you put in them and how long you leave them in there.

Hey MAGNA

I'm with WR on this, I'm waiting to get a look at the map you sent him to get things set up and ready to go.

Cheers, just an update for ya.

Re: Miniatures - You play - I do the work

The map is a pdf on post 29 of this thread. It's desert so it's pretty bare. The two pictures in this post are what you will be seeing in the game. I will put markers as necessary and take more close up shots if needed too.

Note that sometimes you may be asked what to do with a specific section or vehicle if it is important to the game. Otherwise do your orders for manoeuvre elements and the obvious movement will be done by the platoon commanders (eg - me).

If you want a particular part of a unit to do something special you can let me know as well. Anything reasonable (including bribery) will be considered.

PM me your first three moves and dice rolls as soon as you are ready. Good luck to everyone (I'm happy because at least I can't lose).

P.S. Sorry about the sheet. Nothing else was a good colour.

Looks interesting guys and I'll be following along but you'd better count me out...to be honest I don't know how things will be yet so I'd better not commit to anything for a bit.
Good luck all taking part...may Mars smile upon you.

No worries Geek. If we need an extra adjudication on something you can be it perhaps.

As I said before, this one is fairly bland and simple but it will help get us all going. I have access to a better table and equipment at our games group so if everyone wants to go up a level after this time we can get more destructive in a bigger area

Red face Re: Miniatures - You play - I do the work

Sorry I missed the PDF, I just blew by it in to big of a hurry!!!

I'll check it out ASAP, consult with my British counterpart, then let the sand start flying (for the oil rights!!)

Cheers, do you have a basic timeframe in mind for orders to be in by? Best day/night/weekend/time that it would make it easier for ya....

Re: Miniatures - You play - I do the work

Orders can come in when you are good and ready. Any queries by PM or posted here are fine too. I have the German deployment etc. and they are ready when you are.

P.S. Please don't mention the oil too loudly. We don't want to get half way through the game and have Uncle GEORGE springing up from behind a BUSH.

Roger that, I'm waiting for a PM reply from my buddy, about forces we have, then go from there.

Cheers, how much is the gas where you fill up lately?;(
