Exclamation Writing an article for an E-Mag, thoughts please?

I replied to a thread on another site if anyone was interested in doing this, and I got a very good reply back from the guy. It would be about Flames of War LOL (I bet you did'nt see that cominmg WINK), about what I'm not sure yet, but I'm thinking about some topics.

Cheers, comments, thoughts and ideas more than welcome here, and I'm not the best in putting my thoughts down in "print", but one never knows til' one tries I guess.

Tom

One idea was to maybe put a thread up in the FoW site and see what kind of comments I get back, and maybe a co-writer to......??

Thanks MS, I'll need it, I decoded on writing up the Villers-Bocage (Normandy) battle in FoW with Wittmann and the Pz Lehr in the town. I signed up on their site and I will see where it leads, not sure yet though......

Cheers

Definitely keep us updated! It sounds like an interesting project. I've considered similar myself.

It's funny Tom how developing a passionate interest in a subject eventually leads you to writing about it for others. It's good practice and who knows some day may provide you with an income ?

Good Luck

Smile Re: Writing an article for an E-Mag, thoughts please?

Thanks guys, the E-mag I may do this for has'nt gotten permission yet from Battlefront to let me write about it, that I know of anyways, no clue how any of this works. But I'll hang in there, I only have an intro so far, but it's something.

Cheers

When you publish, let us know where to find it, as I'm sure there are many of us that would like to read it!

And feel free to cut your teeth in the Community Reviews and After Action Reports sections...if you haven't noticed already, there are a few professional writers floating about on the threads, and you may be able to get them to offer some valuable tips on your writing style. Good luck to you mate.....I think this is a great opportunity for you, and a fun side project!

Wink Re: Writing an article for an E-Mag, thoughts please?

Thanks, it will be in the second issue, but the first has'nt even come out yet...... So I'll keep it a bit quiet until I see what the first issue covers, and how the writers did in general.

Cheers, never fear, I'll write something sometime, maybe each Flames of War book!! Ha Ha!!
